Gender aspects
The consortium will incorporate principles of gender mainstream throughout the various elements of the project, including both management level and ESRs. To this end, every effort will be made to ensure that the activities contribute to the promotion of gender quality, and steps will be taken to ensure that none of the activities within the program contributes to gender inequality.
The Coordinator will be pro-active in promoting gender-equality throughout the course of the project. To ensure a gender balance in the project and work towards the Commission’s own policies on narrowing the gap between the genders in research, should two ESR applicants be found to be equally qualified during the recruitment process, the preference will be given to the one that will balance the gender in the entire Network.
